Yeah, you're right hummingbirds are addictive. But then they are so cute. The range of sounds is amazing. Besides the whir of speedy wings there is the clicking and the shriek.

The second photo of this group is a favorite. Not only are the flowers bright and gracefully suspended but the bird is poised just so considering which blossom to taste next. This plump little guy was so curious. Unlike the others he likes the flowers and has yet to try the nectar.

These hummingbirds just love my friend's flowers! One of them is a chubby baby with downy looking feathers. It is a little hard to tell in these photos which is the newbie but he is tubby and the adults are quite slander. The picture of them playing in the air didn't quite turn out but it is so darn interesting it may get posted tomorrow with more hummer pictures.

Yes, this is a very boring photo. The intent was to take the fireplace to help with picking out a clock for the mantel. The perspective is very strong and the photographer was listing!
