Life Skills students
had their Special
Olympics today.
Look what they
brought home with
them! Everyone got soaked in the dramatic rain dousings we got
today. But nothing dampened their
spirits! The kids took naps later: the adults had to prop open their eyes for the rest of the day! What a happy, jubilant
bunch!
This Olympus took pictures with a disappointing amount of noise today. This is a student who was given a Smartpen as the result of a grant and he is using it here. Proof positive it isn't too smart for a 5th grader to use! Three of my kiddos got them and all are totally thrilled. One makes his own money and already has his eye on buying his own from Target as he loses this one back to me in a couple of weeks. We think it just might be the motivational tool that will be a turning point for him!
