At Point Defiance after being distracted by baby duck playing in the pond, koi surfacing and occasionally stalking them and turtles sunning on rocks, this blazing red rhododendron bush made a demand for attention. The light was bright and it was behind this part of the bush. They are so attractive: no wonder the bees like them!

At Point Defiance after being distracted by baby duck playing in the pond, koi surfacing and occasionally stalking them and turtles sunning on rocks, this blazing red rhododendron bush made a demand for attention. The light was bright and it was behind this part of the bush. They are so attractive: no wonder the bees like them!
