It seems like it took so long for the iris to make an appearance and now, suddenly they are everywhere and blooming virtually overnight. It seems to be difficult to capture their beauty. They have a different presentation from every angle. So from what angle to best capture them; especially if trying to capture only one in a single image. It seems this is a flower that can lose it's personality it photographed too closely. Will have to do some experimentation while they are in season.
